It was a wonderful night at Bailey's Pub for our first Birds & Brews gathering! We had over 20 people there representing birders of all abilities. The beer tasted good and the fellowship was great. Looking forward to our March gathering!
Hi Shelley, Thank you for hosting this wonderful event! I am already looking forward to the next one. It was both fun and informational as I met nice people and learned some new stuff about birding. I did not know that there are local Audubon clubs or that there is the Waterloo recreation area not far from where I live. Plus, I got some great insider tips from Thomas on how to learn and remember the names of the birds I see. I think this will be a good technique to teach to my boys as they are novice birders too!
